Pre-Course Workshop (FPW001)
COURSE OUTLINE
This workshop is designed to assist students to familiarize themselves with their camera equipment.
Some of the aspects covered are: different films and the loading and unloading of film, basic camera controls - their function/purpose and how to use them, electronic flash, shutter speeds, apertures, basics of exposure and more.
Students are required to submit a copy of their camera's manual to the college at least one week before commencing the course - this copy will be returned to the student after the course.
COST
Once-off R200-00 per student per workshop.
Students must bring the following to class
All camera equipment,
Spare film,
Camera's instruction manuals,
Own notebook and pen/pencil,
Own refreshments
Language of instruction
Determined by the language of the students in the class.
