Q: How long does a module take to complete?
A: There are 7 modules that you can complete in 12 months. Students may do it in less than 12 months.
Q: Can we choose from the modules if we want to focus on our primary interest i.e. safari photos?
A: Unfortunately not - the whole course forms an integrated unit.
Q: How much does it cost? Do you charge per module?
A: The cost of the correspondence course is a once-off fee per student per year.
Q: How does it work? Do you send any material to us?
A: The college sends you the following:
2 x Handbooks:
Section 1 (Technical) consists of 4 modules
Section 2 (Techniques) consists of 3 modules
1 x CD:
with welcoming letter,
7 assignments (one for each module), and the practical exam.
Q: What sort of certificate do you issue?
A: The single certificate is issued by Kondor Photographic (but only if
you pass the assignments, the practical exam as well as theoretical exam).
Q: How can we take the practical and theoretical exams?
A: The assignments and the practical exam are done by mailing them to the college.
Q: Do we have to go to see you?
A: No, just complete the application and registration forms and send them together with the money and two ID-photographs as specified on the registration form. As soon as the college approves your application, the money will be banked and the necessary documents (letters and manuals) will be sent to you by registered mail.
Q: Do you have any other ways of communicating to people interested in photography?
A: Yes. You can also join our free mailing list where we discuss various topics on photography.
